If you take care of the depth of your ministry, God will take care of the breadth of your ministry.

Every church deserves a pastor who can say, “I have no secrets and it’s well with my soul.”

No one can handle an imperfect situation perfectly.

Fresh perspective often requires a change of place + a change of pace + a change of people!

To see and enjoy more transformational impact, invest more time with fewer people.

It’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts the most!

What’s “The Bigger Yes” that God may be calling you to focus upon?

Pastors are perpetually planting seeds and pulling weeds.

Transformation only happens on purpose, over time and in community.

What if some of the best friends you’ve ever had you’ve yet to meet?

If it’s not led it won’t last.

The gift of service is highly portable – servants can go anywhere!

I don’t want to hold others accountable, but I do want to hold them close.

Your life will be no richer than your relationships.

Ministry is messy, but it doesn’t have to be lonely.

Life is determined more by its choices than its chances.

No one will ever be any more accountable than they want to be!

I sometimes get in trouble for the things that I say, but I never get any credit for the things that I don’t say!

To bless a life is to change a life, maybe even your own.

The joyful leader is the most inspiring leader. Joy is a choice that we make, despite the circumstances that we face; therefore, choose joy!

God has greater plans for us than we can now envision!
